Just saying – Harvick And The #29 Team Kicked Arse In 2013

Harvick Jimmie garage

Kevin’s always been one of the better plate racers, and he and Jimmie have about the same average finish at these tracks – Kevin actually being a little better till this year. As we all know, Kevin didn’t have the best luck at plate tracks in 2013, getting taken out early and finishing worst than 40th in the first two. So, accepting that Kevin and Jimmie have about the same skills at the plate tracks, take those “roll the dice” tracks out and look at how Kevin and the #29 team compared to Jimmie and the #48 last season everywhere else.

Kevin outscored Jimmie by almost 50 points on the non plate tracks in 2013!

So, even with the vast engineering advantage of HMS and the #48 team in particular, Harvick and the #29 team actually outperformed the #48 last season on all the non plate tracks by 47 points!
